It seems to me that, as all ADs have either stimulant or sedative properties (AFAIK), psychiatrists should sometimes prescribe "cocktails" of "activating" and sedating ADs together, for example, Prozac and Zoloft simultaneously. Does anyone know if this is done, if not why not, and how it tends to work for the person taking them? (primarily does it tend to result in a antidepressive effect without energizing or de-energizing the person, or does it tend to give them "energy swings"?)
