I did not take the job with the owner who does not speak English. I realized this is real estate and that these companies are always looking for new agents. So, I interviewed with another agency near my apartment. But, I have a reputation of not signing quickly anymore. Thus, the new owner who does speak English told me to stop by this week and meet the other agents. He is taking his time with me. I like his agency better since if I don't make any money, he does not charge any management fees for that month. He has housewives and part-timers working for him as well. He seems fair. I think he has the best system so far. The other owner who did not speak English wanted fees each month and the more you earned, the more he charged for management fees. So, it was a bad deal and he seemed greedy. I noticed this and bailed out by not signing. But, this new owner near my apartment seems decent and extremely interested in me but not pressuring me to sign so quickly. This is a good sign. He is not desperate since he has about ten people working with him. His agency also has the most transactions or biggest volume of transactions in the country for his brand of agency. I am impressed but wonder if I can deliver? I have no knowledge of real estate although I used to be a salesperson in a different field. I have to think about it. If I don't deliver and sell, yes, he does not charge any fees but I think he won't be satisfied? Or, I just won't make money. My mother does not want me to do it. But, her advice is not good for anything. I have to really think about it if I can do real estate.
