Capsule clothing - being a minimalist, owning a few very bland clothing pieces and mixing and matching them to either be dressy or casual. Ex.: All your clothing is black, and you only own 10 pieces are less. I tried to do this earlier on in the pandemic, but I love having a variety. I also have OCD though, but mine is fear of contamination and germs/viruses.
When I'm struggling with PEM from CFS/ME, I will be too fatigued and bedbound to change or shower, so I can go days or weeks without showering, brushing my teeth, or changing my clothes. It's not that I want to do that, but it's that I get that fatigued!
When I used to be low on funds for the community laundry room, I had no choice but to wear the same clothes. Thankfully, I'm in a much better place now, and I have my own in-unit washer and dryer.
I don't dress up in dresses or skirts, and I rarely wear shorts. My go-to are sweats or jeans and sweatshirts or t-shirts. I have a few nice tops, and a few button-down jean tops, but nothing too fancy. I figured "what's the point" when I am isolating in place for two years now and counting. Pre-pandemic: I had more variety of dressy clothes and casual clothes, and I had more colors to choose from. Nowadays, it's easier to have very plain colors.
