Yes, mouse and chaotic, there is some of that. It would be hard for me to bring this up with him because then I'd have to admit to him I thought he wanted me to invite him and risk him saying, "what? no, not at all, I don't want to go to your graduation." And then I would feel humiliated and rejected.
