The heart icon can only be changed when you can still "edit" your post. The "Post Icons" appear underneath the text box. I just clicked on the heart icon to my reply.

Once the edit feature is not available, you can't change it. Maybe a moderator might be able to change it though.

I try to use appropriate icons for my posts, but the generic one is the one that looks like paper.
