Anyone ever taken a drug that totally knocked them out? Ive had this experience with benedryl a couple times. first time was when allergies were really bad and i was working a morning shift, and i took two and it hit me like i had not slept in days! Well that was the old story, now........ Few days ago i went to the ER because I heard crackling in my face (turned out to be sinus infection)... but my anxiety led me to beleive i was in danger and needed to go to the ER annnnnnnnnyway, They gave me benodryl, and an antibiotic, and as soon as i get home and lay on the couch, i was talking to my mom and i couldnt even hold my eyes open. I wanted mcdonalds, so i was eating a burger and was falling asleep during bites! i finally finished that damn burger, and fell asleep on the couch. I woke up about 4am in my bed, and used the potty, then thought "how did i get into bed?" I was totally unaware that my hubby woke me up and i walked myself into my room and went to sleep. You know, i don't even remember putting on my pjs! The benodryl helped my conjestion, but woooooa it probably works better than some sleep meds!
