A good friend's family caught it. Luckily, all of them have mild symptoms, but my friend decided she won't bother with any more vaccines anymore since they don't work. Maybe that's why she had a mild case??? It feels like we are never going to get out of this.
Wow! I can’t even work out your friend’s logic on this one. Surely she can’t dispute the graphs which clearly show hugely reduced deaths and hospitalisation since the vaccines were introduced??

I personally credit my vaccination with ensuring I had a mild infection only and didn’t seem to infect others too - although that was combined with hygiene and distancing/masking up. It’s not one thing IMO it’s a collection of measures.

I think the people who post on this thread are so sensible and logical, it’s helped me to cope with this situation we’ve all faced to read your posts. You people have grounded me many times! There has been so much nonsense around us, I’ve found it hardest to cope with but coming here has helped.

I want to wish you all a happier 2022!
