I prefer wings if my flow is heavy.

I found myself starting my period in India, and apparently tampons aren't readily available here. Unmarried girls and women are afraid of breaking their hymens. Guess there is still that obsession with physical virginity (even though there are lots of ways to break the hymen without having sex). Anyway, now I'm stuck with pads, and I find them to be a lot messier on heavy flow days.
