I’m not preoccupied, I’m interested in weight loss and health and recovery. It is completely unhealthy to weigh yourself every day. Psychologically it is not good for you. I’m not saying people need to listen to me and not do it Because I’m the boss. scientifically, research wise, and mental health wise it’s not good. You are already setting yourself up to associate emotion with a number on the scale. You lose weight you feel great you feel up. You gain weight and you start hating yourself or beating yourself up reinforcing Low self image and esteem. I have yet to come across any doctor that specializes in actual weight loss beyond a gimmicks support weighing yourself once a day. Unless you are medically required to for a health reason weighing yourself more than once a day doesn’t support the positive goal someone might have in mind. Am I saying that people who weigh themselves once or more a day aren’t happy and Or positive ? I am not.. I am just saying science and research don’t support that way of looking at things anymore. Just like BMI and weight charts are completely bogus and every person with any kind of education and intellectual ability has debunked them. They have been proven to negatively affect developing middle school and high school kids. They have been proven to miss labeled people as obese or overweight when it does not take into account activity, other health, and also muscle mass.

Why are you asking me if I’m preoccupied with peoples weight loss goals? Am I not supposed to follow this thread or comment in it ? What are the parameters for commenting in these threads?
