‘‘Twas a long time ago, back in the eighty’s. My pdoc put me on a new med. I felt so awful, I made an appointment went in to complain and she just waved it away
and told me to keep on and give it time. Back then my pdoc was part of a huge teaching complex. So on my way out I stopped at the medical research room. I asked for the latest research on the two meds I was taking. The researcher apologized and said there wasn’t much just these three small reports. All three said it was extremely dangerous to combine these two meds and listed the symptoms that I had just reported to my pdoc. So I went back up to her office. Gave the articles to the secretary and asked her to show the doctor. Within an hour I was inpatient in the medical hospital being withdrawn from both meds!
