I have had mild kidney damage since my early 40s. Try not to catastrophize. I'm not worrying much about it, at this point. See the nephrologist and see what he/she says. Mine told me to simply drink lots of water (not a bunch of soda pop) and avoid getting diabetes. Maybe that's as much as you'll need to do, too. Throughout my life I've had some doctors over exaggerate, some be more reasonable, and only the rare one not take things seriously enough.

* Lamictal (lamotrigine) 150 mg
* Seroquel XR (quetiapine ER) 500 mg
I also take meds for blood pressure, cholesterol, and tachycardia.
