I'm sorry to hear you have to have breast surgery. That's very serious but at least it's benign. Yet it's understandable that you are struggling to cope. I find the anticipatory anxiety is often worse than the actual event. I had a needle biopsy and was told to book 90 minutes for it so i imagined the procedure would take that long when really it was just the paperwork and getting processed and changed and waiting that took the most time. The actual medical procedure took less than five minutes.

It was no fun but at least it was brief.
