I hope you don’t mind me saying that that I think you might have meant “hypomania” and not “mania” in your title.. Just incase someone gets offended.
Mania is not usually associated with bipolar type 2 and the definition is due to the impact it has on your life. Being able to stop because you recognise things is less likely with mania. I don’t mean to cause offence or anything.
