Real estate in CZ isn't cheap, but at least other expenses are more economical. When I compare prices, I also consider New Jersey prices. Or specifically ones in my old New Jersey town. NJ property taxes are the highest in the US. At least in most European countries, where you live doesn't affect the quality of education kids receive as much. And fortunately they're not figuratively burning books like they now are in many US states. Awful!

What interesting information! For some reason, I hope you do end up in France. Maybe it's because of my personal love of the French language.

NJ property taxes highest in US - sheesh. When is this country going to catch up to the rest of the world???
