I don't know. I
speculate multiple, overlapping issues are behind my depression+anxiety.
- early socialization
- possible family predisposition
- work-related circadian stresses
- a long-undiagnosed autoimmune condition with possible neurological effects
That's my speculation in a nutshell. I've had many medical folks treat me, and, basically, they haven't been -- or couldn't be -- interested in causes. They're all about alleviating symptoms.
