I have no junk food in my house (such as pastries, cookies, ice cream, candy, chips, etc, and no sugary drinks) My goal is to get down to 120lbs in a year, I'm currently 170lbs thanks to abilify and the constant hunger and sugar cravings but it's gotten better since starting the Naltrexone, I went down from 172lbs a few weeks ago, to 170lbs and have stayed there for a couple weeks. But now I'm getting serious about it and keeping that stuff out of my house. The next time I have any kind of dessert thing (aside from natural fruit), will be on my birthday in June, and then not again until Halloween, etc and so on. I'll have a dessert or treat on holidays or actual special occasions and that's it. I have to be strict with myself for the first year to get myself back to where I was a couple years ago. I don't have issues with eating tons of fast food so that's not a problem, I hardly ever eat fast food. I just eat what I buy at the grocery store and most of that is now healthy stuff (fruit, whole grains, veggies, fish, chicken, etc, brown rice, fat free plain Greek yogurt, oatmeal, soup, lightly salted, rice cakes, wheat pasta, multi grain bread, beans, eggs... and so on) I do still eat some frozen foods like some pizza or chicken potpies, etc but it's all at least a lot healthier than bingeing on sweets all day everyday.
And I'm making myself be more physically active.
