I am so sorry for your suffering that kidney stone. I don't know too much about them except that my father had them and my best friend too. Sometimes they can use ultrasound (?) to break up a kidney stone I think.
Not sure why you are having the pain you describe. I know that pain can sometimes radiate to areas away from where one would think the pain would be. People suffering heart attacks often suffer pain in their wrists or jaw. Pain is strange.
I am glad that you are in a doctor's care.
It is awful that you are having to endure that pain you describe.
I drink a lot of water all the time to prevent kidney stones. I asked my doctor about it and she said too much water can cause the body to lose nutritients like vitamins, minerals and such. But I don't know. Perhaps consuming a lot of water is recommended with kidney stones.
Since I am not a doctor or medical professional, please do not rely on anything I have written. I hope things will work out and that you will feel better and soon too!
