Yeah, I am too. It seemed to go so fast. I've been watching some events I think I missed or they didn't cover enough via On Demand. It gave me a brief escape, even though I miss my programs too which are on hiatus cause of the Games.

I just watched the closing ceremonies yesterday, so I've been behind.

Chloe Kim, yes! And Eileen Gu, though she's gotten backlash for competing for China since she was born here. She can represent whom she wants!

When watching the figure skating gala, I thought I could finally enjoy it WITHOUT chatter. But lo and behold, they talked at the beginning after the music started and also near the end, while music is still going. It ruined it for me. It also seemed they either didn't have many participants in the gala or they cut some of the coverage for commercials.

I don't remember having to hear chatter during the gala in past Olympics.

Really enjoyed some skaters who didn't end up on the podium: Canada's Keegan Messing's free skate to "Home" by Philip Phillips (I love that song anyway) and U.S. pairs' Alex Knierim and Brandon Frazier's skate to "Fix You" (REALLY LOVE THAT SONG) by Cold Play.

The gravity defying tricks of aerial skiers and snowboarders never cease to amaze me, I swear! It's really amazing to see in slow motion, when you see how much is going on. They change arm and leg positions many times before they land, must have to do with physics. Still that's a lot to do in 4 seconds!

I wasn't surprised to hear many have a gymnastics background. And that applies to divers too, who do the same kind of tricks. They practice on a trampoline.

I was watching some of the skeleton again, where you end up going up to 80mph, lying on your stomach on some kind of slide that looks flimsy to me. I'd never have to courage to do that and can't even imagine myself doing it! You have to be fearless.
