At least you made it through university, many people don't. Be proud of your accomplishments. I hope you were able to get a job. I wish I could have went autopilot with school.

From my experience, it's difficult to find love, peace and motivation. I am still struggling.

I am sorry your parents didn't respond better at that time of your life.

I hope they respond appropriately and acknowledge that they were wrong.

For me, I had to accept that they were wrong but I had to forgive them because they were were limited in their abilities. And I don't expect they understand something back then with so many problems they had.

Life is harsh. I can't live in the past. I know they sacrificed a lot for me and thought they were doing their best with their limited knowledge.
