I used to swear constantly in my bad marriage....then I left & my swearing stopped. Now it only happens at times like when my cat knocked my mantle clock off the mantle & that only rates an "ah, $#:×".
I realized too that all my swearing in my marriage was because even though very educated, I just really didn't have the words to express what I was actually feeling. Good therapy has taught me to express my feelings accurately....however, not sure if I spent any time around my ex that those words wouldn't come right back into use
