I am looking into occupational therapy, and my college has an OT assitant program partnered with another college.

I still really want to work with the elderly, and there's so many people an OT can work for and for different purposes. The problem I have is I need to be careful with my back, and caregiving is very hard on the body, and I would like to stay away from personal care and making life or death decisions like what a nurse has to make. There's other reasons I decided not to do nursing, but I still do want to work in geriatrics and in the medical field.
