I'd contact her family & voice my concerns about her behavior. They may have witnessed some stuff but with your added input maybe will try to get her help. It could very likely be some kind of psychosis & delusions taking place, in which case she needs qualified professional help. I would say "Do not attempt to diagnosis or counsel yourself." Leave it to the professionals. If she is open, suggest she see someone, but if she is paranoid & thinking people are plotting against her she probably will think you are just part of the plot. Having had experiences with paranoia myself, I know that it seemed like everyone who said they were trying to "help" me seemed like they were all conspiring to "get me" & were working in conjunction to hurt me somehow. Medication did wonders with that so that I can look back & realize that that was delusional thinking. (Bipolar 1).--Suzy
