I don't think you're being unreasonable at all. I really don't understand her saying "I don't want to argue". Just like I didn't understand when my now-ex-T not long ago cut me off in the middle of something I was telling her and changed the subject. I was so flabbergasted I just went with it and didn't say anything. I don't think it's right that she stopped you from talking about it even if it was an argument. Cripes.
