Also you need sufficient Vit D for calcium absorption. They work together. I drink calcium enriched milk daily too.
Supposedly we get Vit D from sun exposure, but they've been telling us to decades to avoid the sun and wear sunscreen. Now a "little" is supposed to help, yet I also read that sun exposure is cumulative. So a bit everyday will still add up to sun damage and risk of skin cancer. You can't win.
