They recently changed most books to scroll by pushing on the page with your finger from bottom to top. That "raises" the next portion of the page.

But some older books still page the old way, by flicking the page with your finger from right to left, like a real book.

There are also settings you can set to use the +(plus) and - (minus) volume buttons on your phone to scroll.
