Update: Had the surgery Friday. I lived, but the after pain is currently the killer. It's not terribly bad pain, though. It is a very sore throat from the anesthesia used along with constant peeing, which has a bit of a sting with it comes out. Ouch! It was bloody pee the first few times, but now it has visibly faded. The surgeon used a laser to break it and remove it. Then he put in a new stent with a small string coming out of the penis. It is annoying and I'm afraid I will pull it which will pull out the stent. Trying to be careful not to touch it or get it caught on anything. My kidney must be working overtime or cleaning itself with all this peeing. I guess that is a good thing.
