I am one of the people who are forever defending the chat room, people say we are rude and ignore some users and I come out and say no we dont etc.

Well three times this week I have gone into the chat room and said hi or good morning etc only to be met with silence, now I know they was talking before I came in as on each occasion they have made a comment to each other as I came in. The first two times I made a comment about it and on one of those occasions I recieved a hello back from several people, on the second time I recieved nothing on the third I left before any comment was made as I was a bit cheesed off and didnt want to be rude.

Now if I walked into a room with people in it said hello to them and was ignored then that would be classed as very very rude what is the difference here ? None.

I am not so mad for myself as I am a big girl now and it is water off a ducks back to me however what about new people who come in ? They will leave and may be in need of help at the very least ! At worst it could trigger them into feeling worthless as they are ignored in the world in general.

Come on everyone get a grip.....

If somone comes into the room then have the decency to notice and say hi.
