As expected, I had a good night's sleep. I was SOOOO sleepy when I went to bed... I usually carry a book to bed so I can read for a few minutes, then turn on my white-noise machine and turn off the bedside lamp. So I crawled into bed about 11 pm with the book and the next thing I knew it was 5 am. The book was on the edge of the bed, the white-noise machine had never been turned on, and I'm not sure why but the lamp was off. I went back to sleep until my usual time to get up. I feel good.
The experts say we shouldn't read in bed, but I tried that and it was no magic solution. I think life is better and maybe sleep is too, for me anyway, with a few minutes of thinking about something besides my #$@! problems before turning off the light.
