Hmmmm, are you active in understanding every aspect of money that goes on in your marriage? Here in the US we have retirement IRA's that are in the individual's name who is working & any money that goes into the account is tax deferred or recorded that it was tax free money deposited into it. I think for your own well being you need to become very educated in all aspects of your marriage finances & not leave it up to him or have it as his & yours so you don't have to understand what he is doing. It is important to have an equal understanding of ALL finances that exist within a marriage & you should be just as involved & responsible as he is with how the money is set aside & taxed
