My anticipatory anxiety is the worst. Its best just to spring stuff on me. But I immediatly began freaking out when she told me. And she was like "we don't have to do it' but insurance wouldnt approve my surgery unless I had an ultrasound done. And I guess it had to be internal. So I had to do it. And It was so painful. And I was freaking out the whole time and I think she was freaked out by me. Ugh so glad all that is over.
I've never found transvaginal ultrasounds to be painful- except when a student kept trying to push the wand past my pelvis, resulting in pain.
