I don’t remember, I was young, maybe 6-7 I had to get up in the mornings for mum to drive me to the public pool.

I was the youngest by far of three I just imitated my sisters and “borrowed their bikes to learn to ride a bike. I just kept doing it till I caught on. Eventually dad transformed one of the old bikes into my bike by painting it a hot flaming orange and adding a black sparkle banana seat and streamers.

What age was your first alone trip? For instance when I was 8 my friends and I took off on our bikes and went to the next town over for the day. We got hot dogs at the grocery store and ate them in the park after collecting sticks and branches for a fire.
