Hi background story I started my periods when I just turned 10 years old. From then on until I was in my mud 20's they were extremely painful and extremely heavy as in soaking through clothes and bedding. Since starting Depakote for bipolar disorder when I was 25 my periods have went straight to light if at all most months I never get a period. I'm 37 now.
However on Monday I got a horrendous period in which normal sanitary towels (thick ones) aren't coping with it. I had had to go and buy Tena Incontinence Pants (something I had never thought of before) they I hate to sound gross but they keep the period in the pants no leakages, no issues of blood flowing down my legs (sorry TMI)... but I'm plagued by severe back pain and cramping. Both of which are not going away with paracetamol or ibroprefen (sp?)
Any tips on what I can do?
I can't have a bath as my period just looks like surgery all bloody ruining my towels, me and my flooring. Sorry again TMI!!!
Thanks in advance
