I think for me if there's something I truly truly want, that itself is motivation enough. If I'm ill, I'm ill, and I'm willing to accept it (at the moment) and say to myself "That's OK to give up right now." If there is something I don't want, but feel forced to do, I can easily tell myself "To heck with that!" However, I know sometimes there are things we must do that we hate. Sometimes a bit of teeth grinding and tight fist can push me forward.

Did/do you consider the type that conforms to others' expectations? Or do you feel perfectly fine not doing so, even if there are some ramifications?

* Tegretol XR (carbamazepine ER) 800 mg
* Lamictal (lamotrigine) 150 mg
* Seroquel XR (quetiapine ER) 500 mg

I also take meds for blood pressure, cholesterol, and tachycardia.
