OMG, YES! My GP, every time I see her about anything, rags on me about needing to lose weight. I have explained to her many times that I gained weight while on Seroquel. Prior to Seroquel, I have told her, I weighed 110lbs. (I'm 5'6".) She always looks either doubtful or confused. It is frustrating and demeaning. Very much so. Also, I feel like she's obviously not well-educated about psych meds, and doesn't care to be. I'm really glad because it seems like she's not at the clinic much anymore, so I've been seeing a different provider.
