I have had a few GPS be dismissive but most were good about it, I had more problems with pdoc s being dismissive of medical issues. I have been on psych wards a few times when I developed serious medical issues and was dismissed as nothing. I checked myself out of the psych ward once and went straight to the ER where they did a ultra sound and found out I had an obstruction of the bowels. I was scheduled for emergency surgery.. under the same pdoc another time I had shingles and couldn’t get anyone to look at the rash until I pulled up my shirt in front of them. Talk about painful! On the other had I had gallstones for over a year and couldn’t get my doctor or ER to take me seriously, they kept saying I was having trauma memories. Finally one night in ER I was telling another de missive doctor my symptoms and he offered me pain pills I was so frustrated I said if you don’t look for the cause of the pain I’m going to take the whole bottle of pills to get it over with,….of course he sectioned me. But a intake nurse listened to me and called a doctor who ordered an ultrasound and I had gallstones so badly they scheduled me for three procedures. One though my mouth, another was a small operation and a major operation. For the next day.

I blame the medications for everything except the shingles. Doctors have got to get it together and realize that the whole body/ mind is one component
