It's OK to cancel if you're not in the right mental state, you can make plans again when you feel more like yourself.
That's what I do.. There's coffee connections here in town - Sometimes I'm super talkative about myself and curious about other people and what they say;
but sometimes I just sit there all catatonic-like. I know before hand (In those situations), that I shouldn't have went.
I thought about hanging out with a friend but I feel like I don't even know how to have friends anymore. I'll just work on myself/personality etc - Wait for that to develop more. But everyone has their own quirks with socializing and life.
