I think my parents hated it that I could confront reality better than they could... having lied to me for years, I did not remain the silent high achiever they had wanted. Anything ''less'' than the silent high achiever THEY wanted would, and did... result in permanent exile. Insanity. That ''family'' of origin was close to that. They did not allow me to speak My Truth.

Their Lies and distortions.... were extreme

and yet they appeared, to outsiders, to be ''normal, wonderful people''.... so their Narcissistic charade was a ''success''... unlike, of course, me.
