I've found that when I go into the chat room & I basically just go into th main one that you get put into automatically as I'm kind of clueless & don't know how to switch rooms or anything!! But people there have been very polite & say "Hi" & "How are you?"

Sometimes they are in the middle of a deep conversation so I just listen til I understand what they are talking about then if I have anything to ad d will throw in my 2 cents worth. If I don't understand what the topic is, I'll ask what they've been talking about. Sometimes they have been quiet & ask me how things are going & I'll tell about my stuff.

Sometimes I'm obviously "out of place." I have no knowledge or interest in the subjec, the others all now each other & have a relationship going (& I don't feel hurt since I'm not a regular in the chat rooms) so I'll just say something like "I'm afraid I'm ignorant on this topic so I'll head off, but you all have a great day/night. Talk to you soon."

When I first come on & several people are saying "Hi" rather than respond to them all & take up a bunch of time I just say "Hi, All" or Hi, Everyone."--Suzy P.S. What is DocJohn's chat room?
