Congratulations to each of you too! We should have a party!

My fam is throwing a party for me the end of June. I imagine we'll rent a big banquet room in a restaurant down on the water.

What are the rest of you doing about gifts? Do you specify "no gifts" in your announcements? Is it cool to ask that donations be made to a food bank in lieu of gifts?
Not up on the latest graduation etiquette. I would appreciate your guidance.
