Like tonight as an example- I had the pain at the base of my skull that turned into throbbing. Not as bad as when I get in the fetal position rocking back and forth- thank goodness. I hope your doctor can prescribe something and you don't have to go to the ER. (They give you a lot of Benadryl there for migraines oddly enough.). There's a shot that I've gotten in the Drs office that you can get if your migraine has lasted days and it works well. Within minutes, the pain is gone. What helps is being in the dark and quiet.

I used a homemade ice pack and put that on my forehead. That helped. Then I put my phone away I guess even the light from the phone was too much. Then I just went to bed. I woke up feeling better. Although the ice pack was so melted when I woke up the only way not to make a complete mess was to drink it. I mean it was just fridge water ice cubes. Not a big deal. I think the cold water might have even helped.
Although I don't think things are necessairly ok with me. I'm not sure whats up though.
