I think it would be good to welcome those who enter the hosted chats, if it's already engaged, is by PM. Why not?

I agree also that there is a tendency to crowd the support room. IF the support room already has members in it, and you need support, create your own support room... just don't put a password on it and name it so others know you want support (as opposed to waiting for a specific friend to chat with.)
