I have akathisia.
No one will give me relief.
My Pdoc only wants to lower and take away my meds. Which have kept me stable for years. I’m willing to do that. But that takes a lot of time. In the meantime because of akathisia I can barely function, can’t leave house cuz embarrassed by my akathisia symptoms and cannot sleep because of akathisia.
Pdoc refuses to give me sleep aid. He refuses to prescribe meds used to treat akathisia.
So I have a severe mental illness—bipolar.
Sleep deprivation triggers bipolar.
Meds can keep bipolar episodes from being triggered.
Akathisia can lead to suicide.
Is my Pdoc an asshole or what????
