@BlueJackie I am sorry you are a survivor of abuse, no one should have to go through that.
It may seem counterintuitive but breaking away from our parents is a normal part of life. It is not supposed to be so rough as you are going through, but it does allow you to make a new start.
There are some possible women's shelters in New York State. A google search under Women Shelters new york or the city you live in should give you some options. Here is only one option that lists 10 options scroll down to see them.
