Welcome Jeoparady! Here's my experience: I had a doctor prescribing psych meds, I was her patient for about 6 months. She refused to prescribe AP's, refused Cogentin, and refused any sleep meds. 3 weeks ago I went into a complete breakdown and I'm still not re-stabilized, I'm still struggling.
I should have dropped that miserable, mean doctor after our first appointment. Any psychiatrist or psych med provider who leaves you suffering is BS. I can't suggest strongly enough that you find a different psychiatrist ASAP.
