I can identify.

My husband has been fixated on getting a rototiller. It was my idea to have a vegetable garden this year, especially b/c of the soaring price of everything.

It took us awhile to figure out the correct piece of equipment, and then we got sticker shock, when we realized the average price of a rototiller costs around $1200.

Anyway if I had just paid our bills on Saturday instead of waiting to today, when my husband brought it up yesterday, I could just have said, there's not enough money in our checking account.

I'm trying to implement a "Be extra nice to me" rule until I get through my foot surgery on Friday, and recovery.
