From a small city in upstate New York (the capitol region), lived in a few different states over the years (Kentucky, Virginia, Florida), moved back to my hometown here in NY 6 years ago and am very happy to be back here.

I like that public transportation is readily available. I also like that there are a lot of nice natural places like the Adirondack mountains are fairly close. There's a good balance of city and nature. I don't like how people throw their trash all over the place and I don't like how high rent is around here.
