I'm from New Hampshire, about half an hour to Boston, an hour to Vermont, an hour to Maine, and 2.5 hours to Quebec. The skiing's good, the hiking's better, the weather's wild (Home to Mt. Washington: the worst recorded weather in the world), don't expect to have cell service if you're anywhere but Southern NH.

I like it here most of the time and when I don't like it, it's not hard to get somewhere else.
