I am intrigued and a tiny bit jealous. I would have given anything to have my former T make me coffee and toast. Or something similar.

It strikes me as a little odd. But not necessarily bad-odd. Just unusual-odd.

Is she eating at the same time? Is it as simple as not wanting to eat in front of you without sharing?
