Ex T would sometimes offer me a candy or hot drink if she was having it too, after a while into therapy with her. In my case, looking back at it now, I think she wanted to check how I was doing as one of my issues was never to ask for help or anything else even if I needed it (ED, trust issues, abuse). With time, I ended up relaxing, speaking uo a little more while working on the issues and accepting a candy or whatever.
In a way I find it nice and caring of your T, but have no idea if something may lay under this breakfast thing, though I think you could bring up the way you felt. It’s worth exploring.
