downandlonely, I didn't think I had that many clothes either - it was mainly the T-shirt volume that surprised me. I don't have any really expensive clothes that couldn't go in the dryer, but if I did, I'd have bagged them in a plastic bag and taken them to the dryer. Plus a few of my loads were my bedding which also had to be treated.
Now it's wait and see.
